Weyburn Field Tour    

Producing for over sixty years, the Weyburn project is Canada’s largest CO2 enhanced oil recovery operation, as well as the site of the world’s largest geological greenhouse gas storage project. There are now over 30 million tonnes of CO2 stored at Weyburn, with an additional two million tonnes added each year. Leaving from The Hotel Saskatchewan and travelling ~135 km southeast of Regina, this field trip will bring participants up close to the Whitecap Resources Inc. operated Weyburn Unit. The tour kicks off with an overview of the field, followed by a visit to the control room, the facility and will include a stop at a wellsite and satellite. Deli-style lunch included.

Survey a Location 101    

Ever wonder what happens on the other side of your project kickoff?  Join Midwest Surveys Inc. in the field and find out how: from bare coordinates to a final plan.  Midwest Surveys is very excited to bring you this unique experience to learn land surveying basics, background survey knowledge, a Field Survey and a Tripod Setup Competition.  The day will also include a Lobster Boil Lunch, music and cool beverages at the beautiful Wascana Park.

This is a team building experience like no other. Join us in the Qu’Appelle Valley as we are divided into teams and given 14 treasures to find on a beautiful working ranch. Each team is given a 5 minute head start and then pursued on horseback. Relationships are the foundations of success and we will work with a team building facilitator after the experience to discuss the session and how each team worked or didn’t work. We will also have a steak lunch during our debriefing session. Appropriate footwear and outdoor clothing is required.

Waterskiing, Wake Boarding, Surfing and Distillery Tour                 

Wake up with a small group of water sport enthusiasts for a WaterSki/ Wakeboard with Saskatchewan’s Travelling Clinic on Last Mountain Lake.  Get tips on how to improve your performance on board or ski, and learn how to surf the wake of a Malibu.  Famous fish n’ chips at the Blue Bird Café, Regina Beach, and then off to the Last Mountain Distillery for a dill pickle Caesar or apple moonshine.   Don’t miss this last chance to weekend at the lake.

Golf Tournament at Deer Mountain

Join your friends, coworkers and colleagues for an 18 hole scramble at the Deer Valley Golf Course, ( in the Qu'Appelle Valley. Club rentals are available for a fee and any special requests can be made to Wade Evans and Jeff McManus or Terry Jordan.
