Facilities Overview (PSL®)

A one day seminar for surface land agents will give an overview of many key aspects of oil and gas field operations, facilities and practices. Upon completion of the course land agents will have a basic understanding of the key aspects involved in field operations.


The seminar will cover the following stages in the Life Cycle of a well.

Brent Cymbol, P.Eng

Brent Cymbol is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years' experience in facilities and production engineering, construction and project management.  Brent is currently employed as the Operations Manager with Broadview Energy and before that Facility Engineering Manager at Apache Canada.  Throughout Brent's career he has been involved in the development, design, construction and operation of numerous oil & gas installations throughout Western Canada.  Early in Brent's career he worked for an international engineering company that designed and installed process equipment in oil refineries and petrochemical plants throughout the world.  Brent has also been a Director for Dresser Canada an international energy company, construction engineer and facilities engineer.
