This course is provided for professionals such as surface landmen, engineers, geologists, accountants and other professionals who either work directly or indirectly with their mineral land department. Individuals new to minerals would also benefit from this course.
The course is designed to provide course attendees, who may have limited knowledge of oil and gas, with a basic ground-up overview of minerals and the role of Negotiators in the exploration process. This course will also include an introduction to tenure and agreements in Western Canada.

Sandy Sandhar, Bachelor of Commerce
Ms. Cameron is currently Land Manager at Athabasca Oil Corporation and Ms. Sandhar is Manager of Negotiations at Canadian Natural Resources Limited. Each has more than 18 years of experience in commercial negotiations, business development, acquisitions and divestitures. Both were instructors at the University of Calgary for 10 years at the Haskayne School of Business, teaching Petroleum Land Management 475 in the Bachelor of Commerce program. Ms. Cameron and Ms. Sandhar are also Advisors for the PLM program.
Ms. Cameron was previously with Enerplus Corporation, Canadian Natural Resources Limited and held prior positions with Imperial Oil and Talisman Energy. Ms. Sandhar has been with Canadian Natural Resources Limited for over 13 years and held prior positions with Apache Canada.
Both are proud graduates from the University of Calgary. Ms. Cameron and Ms. Sandhar are active members of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen.
