Sean Assié

Sean Assié has a general regulatory law practice with an emphasis on facilities projects. He assists clients, typically in the oil and gas industry, on a broad range of regulatory matters, including environmental assessments, approvals and protection orders and matters relating to Aboriginal groups. Sean has represented clients before several administrative tribunals, including the Alberta Energy Regulator, Alberta Utilities Commission and Alberta Surface Rights Board, as well as the Alberta Court of Appeal.

Megan J. Ollivier 

Megan Ollivier has a corporate commercial law practice with a focus on commercial transactions within the energy sector and private mergers and acquisitions.  Megan has experience representing energy companies on a broad range of commercial transactions in Canada, including the negotiation and drafting of purchase and sale, joint venture, joint operating and partnership agreements. She also assists clients on the negotiation and drafting of energy contracts related to the development of petroleum, natural gas, oil sands and renewable resources. 

Leanne Desbarats 

Leanne Desbarats has a commercial litigation practice with a growing specialization in energy and natural resources law and environmental matters. Leanne has assisted with matters before all levels of courts in Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal. Leanne also has assisted with matters before various regulatory tribunals in Canada, including the Alberta Utilities Commission, the National Energy Board and the Northwest Territories Public Utilities Board.
