This session provides comprehensive, step-by-step strategies for streamlining the flow of Land assets through acquisition & divestiture closings/processes. From data rooms, ROFRs & closings, to project planning/management, asset reconciliation, title conveyancing & data implementation/management, all aspects of Mineral, Surface, Contracts, Units, & JV agreements will be discussed with respect to the buy/sell processes. We will discuss/review:
• how to create a strategic project plan that best-suits your deal/dynamics;
• how to effectively scope, budget AND manage resources, costs & timelines;
• effective internal change management - how to proactively plan for pending resource/technology changes following the increase/decrease of your asset portfolio;
• how to establish quality assurance points throughout the project;
• how to set-up data rooms & manage due diligence to ease/fast-track costs/efforts;
• how to efficiently navigate each step of the A&D processes, in detail, including title conveyance automation & the risks, roadblocks & rewards of data/asset conversions;
• how to effectively smooth change & communications/integration with FA/PA.
